At Raventós i Blanc, the philosophy in the vineyard is one of maximum care for the balance of each plot and an obsession to understand the balance in order to promote the finest expression of each.Raventós i Blanc chose to leave Cava DO in 2012 in pursuit of a more focused terroir and quality program they call Conca del Riu Anoia. At Raventós, the winegrowers demonstrate 100% dedication to biodynamic agriculture and the result has been some of the finest sparkling wines of the world.
An excellent vintage with a longer cycle and slow ripening: ideal conditions for great wines. Clean, with notes of light citrus, red flowers and bitter almond.
Grape: Xarel-lo (40%), Macabeo (35%), Parellada (15%) and Monastrell (6%)

Viticulture and Winemaking: Slow and intentional winemaking, starting with a gravity led entry into the winery. Slow pressing at low pressure, static racking at low temperatures. First fermentaiton in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, co-fermentation of Xarel-lo and Monastrell with other varietals fermented seperately. Blending, followed by secondary fermentation in the bottle and aging for a minimum of 18 months in the bottle.
