The goal of the Bethel Heights Estate Chardonnay is for tension and vibrancy over opulence and richness. The 2019 vintage was a cool, challenging year that finished with small berries bursting with intensity. Notes of fresh quince, white flowers, roasted almonds and flinty tones with a satiny texture and layers of floral fruit.

Viticulture and Winemaking:Whole cluster pressed at low pressure and settled for 3 days at a cool temperature. Racked to 228L barrels and fermented to 35--40 days with lees stirring from mid-fermentation to its completion. Aged on its lees for 12 months. Racked and aged for an additional 4 months prior to bottling.
