Deep Down

Deep Down is a boutique Marlborough wine company formed by Clive Dougall and Peter Lorimer. As a collaboration of two New Zealand families, Clive brings over a decade of experience to the table as the former winemaker and viticulturist at Seresin Estate for over a decade, and Peter Lorimer promoted boutique New Zealand brands around the world with his company the New Zealand Wine Portfolio. The guiding principle of Deep Down is about trusting your gut feeling and intuition. For Deep Down, that is aligning their actions with their beliefs: making wine organically and ethically is the only way forward.

. Deep Down brings forward wine of transparency and place, forged with intuition and heart.

Rippon

In 1975, Rolfe Mills began to experiment with Vitis Vinifera. Their first commercial vintage was released in 1989.

Central Otago is considered the only continental climate in New Zealand. This offers the viticulture high ultra violet light, long sunshine hours and highly refractive soils. Combined with the selection of slopes and terrains, the mountainous airflow and the vineyard's proximity to Lake Wanaka, Rippon has everything they need to produce high quality, organic and biodynamic wines.
