Moraza “Rosado” is an organic wine, natural fermented, lightly filtered, clean, crisp and fresh. Made with 100% tempranillo grapes it is a perfect “summertime wine” but do not be fooled; this is a great quality organic wine made with care and passion. A unique way to taste the real freshness of tempranillo.
Mineral, dry and juicy, this is a great mealtime rosé. Made and aged in concrete eggs, gives this wine a craveable texture. Find notes of fresh red berries, tart cherry and wild herbs.
For six generations, Moraza has been cultivating vines and making wine in the heart of the Golden Mile in Rioja Alta, more specifically in San Vicente de la Sonsierra and Àbalos. The considerable experience gained taught them a profound respect for nature. All their vineyards are organically grown; they supervise their vines, exercising a minimum of control following biodynamic principles. They produce wines exclusively with the grapes from their own vines, which explains their limited quantities.
Moraza understands that their wine is a result of the complexity of their land and should express the terroir it comes from. They work only with native varietals from Rioja, which are delicate and very sensitive to changes in climate, soil and altitude. Each varietal expresses its full potential in each parcel, so the resulting wines have a perfect balance of fruit and freshness, and are free to express their own caracteristics depending on the vineyard, altitude, orientation of the sun, climate and surrounding nature.
