The story of the Wiston Estate is one of the Goring family and their commitment to stewarding their land since 1743, and into the future. The current generation at the wheel is Richard Goring and his wife Kristy, who planted their 16-acre vineyard of Champagne varieties in 2006 and is now renowned for their high-quality traditional method sparkling wine. The chalky slopes of South Downs had been the site of Roman grape plantings, which is just one more layer of history at this iconic estate in West Sussex, England.

Wiston Blanc de Blanc NV

This NV Blanc de Blanc is a direct reflection of the winemaking history of the Wiston Estate by pulling in some of their very first reserve from 2009. This bottling is made of 80% harvest of 2018. It is delightfully fresh with vibrant acidity and great balance. Notes of crisp green apples and delicate kumquats are balanced with a flinty minerality. The finish is soft, crisp and clean.

Wiston Rose NV

This gorgeous rosé sparkling wine captures the essence of summer. Fragrant notes of rhubarb, raspberry, redcurrant, wild roses, lemon zest and a bit of sherbet. A backbone of crushed oyster shells fortifies this superbly elegant wine with tiny, persistent bubbles and a refreshing acidity.

Wiston Brut NV

A refreshing and elegant sparkling wine. On the nose there is a youthful purity of crisp green apples, ripe lemons with richer character from extended lees-aging. It is deliciously zingy on the palate with a bready autolytic character followed by notes of apple compote and candied citrus peel. It finishes with a bone-dry, complex finish

Wiston Cuvee Estate 2016

The 2016 vintage is drinking beautifully with enticing notes of honeyed citrus, toasted almonds, and brioche. It has impressive depth and complexity, with signature precision and elegance. The 2016 vintage in West Sussex had a slow start for the vines which led into a mostly late summer/early autumn, and gave the grapes perfectly balanced ripeness and acidity.

Wiston Blanc de Noir 2014

The 2014 has an quality of fruit, which showcases in its intense and complex aromas. Notes of lemon cake, macadamia nuts, toast and spiced Seville oranges lead to a round and weighty palate. Opulent flavours of rhubarb, deied orange, sweet Braeburn apple and pink Himalayan salt. A long and deep wine that is perfect to sip by the fire.
