Kleinood

 

The de Villiers family have always had roots in the vineyards of South Africa. Jacob de Villiers originally purchased the Boschendal wine farm in 1688. A descendant of Jacob’s, Gerard de Villiers chose to maintain the legacy by finding a small piece of land that is now Kleinood. This vineyard specializes in Syrah production.

 

Kleinood concentrates on meticulous care and handling in both their vineyard and winemaking. The vineyard is fully sustainable as they produce their own organic matter.
