2021 Can Sumoi "Sumoll-Garnatxa Negre"
Can Sumoi Garnatxa Negre is a juicy red wine with an intense nose of wild fruits and Mediterranean forest herbs. The Sumoll brings wild fruits, rustic, finesse, electric acidity; whereas the Garnatxa brings red fruits, roundness, elegance, silkiness: all-together making an excellent blend. A wine with a good amount of wild fruits and herbs on the palate, a long finish and acidity that will leave you wanting more.
Viticulture and Winemaking: Located in Massís del Montmell at 650m above sea level. Grapes were harvested by hand on September 16th and 17th. Grapes were destemmed and underwent soft treading in an inert atmosphere. Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts at a temperature of 22°C to 28°C for 15 days with their skins. Aged in stainless steel for 9 months and an additional 3 months in bottle.
