Le Nain Violet is the domaine’s principal red, sourced from Grenache vineyards. Richly flavoured, it spends 12 months in barrel, with only a small percentage of new oak.
Concentrated, yet elegant, it is a pure expression of Maury’s black schist soils – layered with black cherry, damson, wild herbs, and a subtle mineral edge that lingers on a velvety, seamless palate.
Grenache is at the heart of it all. It thrives where nothing else dares to grow. Without hardship, Grenache can be thin and forgettable – but with it, something magical happens. It transcends.
