2022 Bindi Sergardi "Achille" Toscana Rosso
Dedicated to Achille Sergardi, who devoted his life and energy to the Republic of Siena at the end of the 1400s.
Intense ruby red colour. An intense and fruity bouquet. More evident are the accents of mature red fruit, cherries and blackberries. Achille is very round, sweet and soft in the mouth which make is so delicious and easy to drink. The finish is characterized by a persistent flavor, a very inviting wine.
Vinification and aging: Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats and maceration lasts circa 15 days at a controlled temperature of 28° C. Shortly after malolactic fermentation the wine is transferred into barriques for refinement at Tenuta I Colli.

The vineyards insist on about 100 hectares of land and are located within three prestigious DOCGs: Chianti, Chianti Colli Senesi and Chianti Classico.The origins of the Bindi Sergardi family date back to 1349. Valiant noblemen, great farmers, captains and bishops, the family has been producing wine for 23 generations.
